About the role

Drive the planning, definition, and delivery of Redimark hardware and software products. As Product Manager, you will manage the complete product lifecycle from strategic planning through tactical activities. You will interact with customers and potential buyers to understand their needs and translate them to product requirements. You will draw upon your combination of business savvy and technical prowess to understand the market and company vision and incorporate it into plans for product development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

Product Ownership: Manage the entire product lifecycle of Redimark coding hardware and software including apps and SaaS offerings. Collect, prioritize and communicate requirements to ensure stellar products. As voice of the customer, seek creative ways to stay close to the customer and represent them in decisions regarding product evolution.

Innovation: Solve market problems using distinctive competence and creativity to create Whole Products. Investigate different technologies and consider how they might be applied.

Project Management: Create and control the Product Roadmap based on an understanding of market requirements, prioritization and internal resources. Manage the product release plan and cross-functional team communications. Support and coordinate Beta programs.

Analysis and Strategy: Research and describe buyer personas and their buying process, the competitive landscape, win/loss situations, and other information to help craft our market positioning. Identify strategies to measure success in our market and progress towards our vision.

Requirements

  • MBA, or the equivalent work experience
  • Computer science or engineering degree, or the equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 6 years software and/or consumer products Product Management, Program Management, Technical Marketing or Product Marketing experience.

Experience in multiple of the following

  • Project Management expertise
  • Experience with app development projects and/or SaaS products
  • B2B Software User Interface design
  • Agile Product Management
  • Application of the Pragmatic Marketing Framework

About the role

This role is responsible for ensuring the continuation of existing strategies, execution of deliverables, reporting progress and working to keep all team members on the same page. Self-motivation and clear communication is a vital part of this role.

This is a long-term temporary position lasting 6 months with possibility of prolongation for the right candidate.

About you

Knowledge and abilities

  • Proven and visible marketing veteran, with experience overseeing a team of creatives and/or public relations and media outreach experts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in developing content (web, social media, etc.)
  • Layout and design proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data.
  • Excellent eye for design and typography and the ability to deliver constructive feedback on projects to the creative team.
  • Experience with other creative disciplines a plus (e.g. video, events, front-end, audio/visual, etc.).

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • 8+ years progressive marketing experience required
  • Periodic travel is required, including the potential for international travel
