The TC12 software update version 1.1.1 fixes a bug with the speed encoder that was only allowing the rotary encoder operation to work in one direction and caused the print to produce a halo appearance.
Newest software version download and simple step-by-step instructions for both cloud connected and non-cloud connected coders provided below.
CLOUD-ENABLED DEVICES (WIFI CONNECTION):
Tap on Settings.
Tap on the System tab.
Tap on the Update button.
Tap on the Network icon.
Tap on the Software V.1.1.1 File and follow screen prompts.
Note: Your Redimark TC12 thermal inkjet date coder will need to reboot after update is complete.
Have a USB flash drive?
Download Software V.1.1.1 File and save as .zip file on your computer.
Upload the Software V.1.1.1 File (make sure it is still a .zip file) to the Redimark USB flash drive that came with your TC12 thermal inkjet date coder, or another compatible USB flash drive.
* Keep file “zipped” by right clicking on the .zip file and use the “save file as” function to save it directly to the USB stick as a .zip file.

No problem. We’ll send you a Redimark USB flash drive that is specially designed to fit the TC12 touchscreen tablet controller.
Insert the USB flash drive loaded with software .zip file in back of the TC12 touchscreen tablet controller.
Tap on Settings.
Tap on the System tab.
Allow time for the coder to read the USB flash drive.
Tap on the Update button.
Tap on the USB icon.
Tap on the Software V.1.1.1 File and follow screen prompts.
