Consumer packaged goods come in a wide range of containers, many made of all metal or with metal components. Some of the different types of metal packaging include: beer and soft drink cans, food can, aerosol containers, tubes, open trays, caps and closures, and lids. Metal lids, with a semi- to non-porous surface, are tamper-evident and provide an airtight seal on jars and bottles. Some metal packaging including aluminum alloys are light weight, durable, easy to store and transport goods, and can prevent damage to goods from sunlight, oxygen and humid environments, making them a popular food and beverage packaging choice.

The T801K ink, with a 1-2 second dry time prints well on metal alloys. The T801K ink also provides sharper contrast and a finer line quality for an extra crisp clear print.
